How these captions work
Each caption states only what is visible in the image: interface text like SWEEPING STAGGER or the vision names in the equipment panel is read straight off the screen, and nothing is identified beyond what the picture shows. The dark colossus in the cutscene section, for instance, is captioned as exactly that, because the image does not name it and we do not guess.
The filenames on this site (battle-party-four, ui-equip-abilities and so on) are our own internal labels for organisation. They are not official stage names or official screenshot titles.
Several of these shots do double duty as illustrations across the wiki: the combat page uses the sweeping stagger and fire spell shots, the visions page uses the Cloud cinematic and the equipment panel, and the story, characters and side content pages each carry the shot that matches their subject.

Are these official screenshots?
Yes, all eleven come from the game's Steam store listing, published by Square Enix.
Will the gallery grow?
Yes: new official batches and, after launch, our own platform captures will be added with the same caption discipline, and dated additions land on the news timeline.
Why do some captions avoid naming things?
Because the image does not name them. We caption what is on screen; identification without on-screen evidence belongs on the fact pages, sourced properly, not in a caption.
