What the Digital Deluxe pack contains
The Magitek and Grimoire Deluxe Pack is the only paid extra in the entire product, and it is cosmetic-plus-convenience, not power-locked content:
- Magitek Armor Key x1: turns your chocobo's appearance into magitek armor
- Archwitch's Grimoire x1: unlocks Fel Meteor, a Limit Burst for a certain character, exclusive to this pack
- Mastery Ring x1
- Tent x5, Mist Potion x5, Mist Ether x5, Phoenix Down x5, Remedy x3
The pack is also sold separately as an upgrade after launch, so buying standard first and upgrading later costs the same in total. On Nintendo, watch the version line: the Switch 2 upgrade and the Switch upgrade are different products and are not cross-compatible, part of the two-Switch situation our platforms page explains.
Physical editions exist on three platforms
The official site's pre-order section lists physical editions for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. PC and Xbox are digital-only. At retail, Amazon carries the PS5 disc at CAD 70.71 with a "2000+ bought in past month" badge and the same price for both Switch versions, so physical copies are genuinely in circulation, not announce-only. A collector's edition was sold through the official Square Enix store and is already sold out; we could not verify its contents from a live listing, so we will not list them.
Region pricing notes
This site only quotes prices we can see on a storefront: US$49.99 / $59.99 and HK$399 / HK$499 (the Hong Kong figure also matches the Switch 2 eShop). Converting currencies to guess other regions is exactly how wrong prices spread, so we do not do it. If your region matters to you, check your own storefront; the demo is free everywhere if you want to try before buying.
No gacha, no battle pass, nothing else to buy
Because Resonance rebuilds a mobile game, the question gets asked a lot: there is no in-game store, no gacha pulls, no stamina and no paid randomised rewards. The Xbox listing's "offers in-app purchases" flag refers to buying the Deluxe upgrade add-on, nothing more.
